Why Germany? Why Switzerland?

In the providence of God, Germany and Switzerland were at the center of the Protestant Reformation.  From there it spread throughout France, England, Scotland and eventually to what would become the United States of America.  The spread and influence of Christianity is the cental focus of all history and to discove this tradition of Christian history is to grasp a deeper understanding of the Christian faith.

Return to the time when Charlemagne's empire fostered the arts, reading and culture, when Henry II held off the Muslim lords from destroying Christendom in the 10th Century.  Walk in the footsteps of Martin Luther as he inaugurated the Protestant Reformation that changed the course of history when he gave his people their own Bible in the common German language.  Travel to Switzerland to survey the magnificence of God's creation and realize why Christians for hundreds of years have made this the place of "Peaceful Pilgrimage".
