Why
Germany? Touring Germany is to journey back in time
to the roots of Western Civilization and the Protestant Reformation.
From the eighth century when St. Boniface, the English missionary,
solidified Christianity in the land of the Visigoths, the
kings and dynasties of Europe emanated from this German domain.
Charlemagne’s empire fostered the arts, reading and culture.
Henry II held off the Muslim lords from destroying Christendom
in the 10th century from Quedlinburg. Martin Luther inaugurated
the Protestant Reformation that changed the course of history
as he gave his people their own Bible and the German language.
As we
travel to Germany, we will survey the events of World War
II and the collapse of communism. We will walk the spiritual
path of Martin Luther, trace the impact of the Reformation
and discover the great link in the chain of Christianity.
We will meet and eat with the people of the former East Germany
and learn about the prayer and a longing for liberty that
resulted in a unified Germany. We will share the lessons of
European family dynasties and how Biblical Christianity brought
creativity, prosperity, and liberty to Europe and America.

ministry and broaden your worldview perspective. Be greatly
encouraged as you learn of past Christian heroes who provided
pillars of leadership in their day and changed history. Renew

freedom. Perhaps going back to the 16th century is a good
place to start, when a man named Martin Luther transformed
Christendom forever with the Biblical decree, “The just shall
live by faith.” It is our hope that, as you gain a deeper
understanding of the past, it will strengthen your faith for
the future. Yes, plan a tour and participants will be blessed
with a trip of a lifetime— and so will you!

the opportunity with Luthertours to unlock the hidden mysteries
of Europe's spiritual treasures and to improve upon our Christian
heritage. We must never forget the Reformation that restored
the centrality of Christ and the Bible to the world. The renewed

the finest art, music, literature and governmental reform
in all of history. This heritage of Christian civilization
can be remembered—and its Truths can be rekindled—for the
transformation of continents in our time. Bring your team
of laborers to serve for the Kingdom of God. Countries of
Europe, especially those like the former eastern states of
Germany, are in dire need of Jesus Christ and your mission
work. It is difficult to imagine that, just over a decade
ago, people were punished and penalized behind the Iron Curtain
for their Christian beliefs. Your ministry will extinguish
a darkness, revive the foundations of Christendom and help
rebuild the faith. No, we must not forget the unspoiled cities,
cathedrals, and castles that were home to the world’s greatest
Reformations. Remember.. .revive... recapture the essence
of the Christian Heroes of Faith and make a difference for
eternity. Recent events have given our European neighbors
an even deeper friendship and empathy with America. Now is
the time to go to them, learn from them, and share our own
testimony.
