HERITAGE HUB 1 - RUHPOLDING / TYROL (14 days)

Our “Heritage Hub” Itineraries offer the wonderful opportunity for each tour member to create their own personal experience while touring the “Lands of Reformation”.

The first days of the tours are identical as we travel the historic cities of Martin Luther and explore our Lutheran Heritage.

Our next four days and nights will be spent in and around Ruhpolding. Wonderfully located at the base of the spectacular Bavarian Alps, Ruhpolding offers a multitude of activities and excursions. You may choose to join our Tour Director for daylong excursions to some of the most interesting destinations in Europe, or spend the day leisurely relaxing on your own in Ruhpolding. Golf, hiking, swimming and rafting are just a few of the activities available.

 Departure Depart USA for the overnight transatlantic flight to Frankfurt, Germany.
DAY 2:
 Frankfurt/Eisenach
Arrive in Frankfurt. Travel to Eisenach. Overnight in Eisenach. (D)
DAY 3:
 Eisenach/Erfurt/Eisenach
Visit Wartburg Castle. On to Erfurt. Guided sightseeing tour. Overnight in Eisenach. (B/D)
DAY4:
 Eisenach/Stolberg
Travel to Harz Forest and medieval Stolberg. Overnight in Stolberg. (B/D)
DAY 5:
 Stolberg/Eisleben/Wittenberg
Guided city tour of Lutherstadt Eisleben. Continue to Wittenberg. Overnight in Wittenberg. (B/D)

 “Romantic Road”/Augsburg/ Ruhpolding

 Excursion: Salzburg
Guided city tour including Mozart’s birthplace. Overnight in Ruhpolding. (B/D)

 Excursion: Munich

 Excursion: Herrenchiemsee
Drive to Prien. Boat ride to Herrenchiemsee Castle. Guided tour of the castle. Overnight in Ruhpolding. (B)
